Lesnes Abbey Archaeological Dig 20 - 27 April
We are very excited to be partnering with DigVentures, who will be organising an Archaeological Dig at Lesnes Abbey Woods. They will be working with local secondary school at the start of the week.
Why not pop down and see a live Archaeological Dig in action! There will be drop in Trench Tours and an opportunity to look at all the Finds from the Dig (see What's On for timings)
Accompanying the dig The Friends of Lesnes Abbey & Woods have an amazing programme of bookable talks, walks and an historical exhibition in the Lodge (see website for booking information)
Creative Nature HQ are inviting park visitors to drop into The Clearing Open Day on 25 April where you will be able to see demonstrations in the ancient art of casting and copper forming and textile printing with natural dye.
All this free activity has been made possible by funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and players of the National Lottery.
