The woodland and park are open from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year.


Lesnes Abbey Lodge

We run activities, classes and workshops throughout the year at Lesnes Abbey Lodge.  You can  hire the Lodge for conferences, classes and workshops.  We also do private hires for birthday parties, wedding receptions and blessings.  The Lodge has stunning views over the park and abbey ruins, creating the perfect backdrop for your event.  You can either hire the whole space (14mx 7m) or one of our sub divided classrooms (7m x 7m).

Public Toilets

You will find these situated at Lesnes Abbey Lodge next to the kiosk.

1st November – 31st March 9.00 – 17:00

 

Recreation Area

This comprises of an extensive play area, junior BMX track, parkour, basketball courts and outdoor gym. There is something to enjoy whatever age you are.

Cycling Facilities

There are bike stands just outside Lesnes Abbey Lodge, bicycles can be secured but are left at  owners risk.  There are many paths that are suitable for cycling and for younger riders we have a BMX track  in the Recreation Area on Abbey Road

Accessibility and Blue Badge Parking

The park and gardens are fully accessible to wheelchair users.  The best entrance to use is situated at the bottom of the hill on New Road (near Monks Close).

Dog Walkers

With 88 hectares of woodland and park, there are plenty of lovely walks that you can explore with your dog/s. The Chestnuts Kiosk kindly provide water bowls for all those dogs that are thirsty after exploring the woods.

We ask owners to keep their dogs on their lead in the park area and dogs are not allowed in the play area and Monk's Garden.
