Wonderful Woodlands Festival

Just over 2 years ago the Friends of Lesnes Abbey and Woods were constituted as a group. During this time, they have achieved and contributed so much to Lesnes Abbey Woods community. They organise monthly litter picks, attend our weekly Gardening and Conservation Volunteering sessions, run a monthly Art Club and Forest Club (with the help of Creative Nature HQ).

More recently through funding via Three Rivers they organised the amazing Woodland Festival. Their latest endeavour has been to raise £2000 for a Defibrillator that is situated next to Chestnuts Kiosk. They achieved this through charity runs and selling raffle tickets at Lesnes Abbey Farmers Market, with prizes donated from local businesses.
